OMD, MD (China) Email:qishengguan@yahoo.com About the Doctor Dr. Guan was graduated from Beijing University of Traditional Chinese Medicine and Pharmacology and has been dedicated for more than 25 years in the clinical practice and teaching of traditional Chinese medicine. He worked in the hospitals, medical colleges in China for 14 years and supervised a Chinese medicine clinic in Denmark, Europe and Helped to set up an integrated clinic of Chinese medicine and western medicine in Botswana, Africa. Dr. Guan attended many international conferences on traditional Chinese medicine and compiled /or translated 10 books on acupuncture and Chinese herbal medicine. After coming to the United States at the end of 1999, Dr. Guan has been a professor of Santa Barbara College of Oriental Medicine, teaching many subjects such as Chinese medicine theories, acupuncture points locations, needling techniques, treatment of diseases, ancient Chinese medical classics, clinical diagnosis and evaluation, and clinical supervision, etc. Dr. Guan started his private practice in downtown Santa Barbara at the begining of 2005. He is in full practice of Chinese herbal medicine and acupuncture, specialized in male and female infertility, skin diseases, pains, sports and other traumatic injuries, digestive and respiratory diseases, menopause, stress management, etc. Dr. Qisheng Guan is a master in Chinese herbal medicine and acupuncture.
